That's good to know that they will be re-opening. What's the time table? This seems tobe the unanswered question and that is the root of my question.

To give you a heads up, Metroland will be covering the 7th Ward in their Q&A tomorrow. From what I have heard there are now six candidates running for the open seat: 4 Democrat, 2 Republican. I do not know the names of the two new candidates.
This is good news: 7th Ward and Delaware Avenue issues will likely get a good amount of attention through this process, not just through mid-September but also through November. Having a Common Council president candidate from the 7th does not hurt either.
